Who doesn\u2019t love visiting a winery? No one we know. But, visiting a winery in the middle of winter \u2014 in a location that gets a lot of wintery blasts \u2014 is maybe a different question. But it shouldn\u2019t be! Northern Michigan offers a variety of wintertime activities, such as ice skating, hiking, fat-tire biking and cross country skiing. But how about wine tours? You bet!
\u00a0\u00a0 Delamar Traverse City, a luxurious resort on the West Bay of Lake Michigan, offers Sip & Snowshoe Vineyard Packages and daily wine tours. With the Delamar Traverse City serving as the base camp, go up to the Old Mission Peninsula for tastings from Peninsula Cellars, Brys Estate Vineyards and Chateau Chantal Winery. Each visit is about 45 minutes and transportation is provided. Guests are responsible for the payment of tastings and poured glasses.
